We've updated our church app and would love to have you try it out - here's what you need to know:
1. If you previously installed the old version, uninstall it by finding the app icon in your list of apps and pressing on it for a few seconds and then choosing to uninstall.
2. Open your phone web browser (probably Google Chrome or Safari) and go to this page: https://app.westvillemethodist.co.za (Don't try to find us in an app store - we're not there!)
3. Enter your cellphone number and click the button that says "Send verification SMS to this number".
4. You will be SMS'ed a 4 digit PIN number. Type in the PIN and press "Submit PIN" and you will be logged in to the app.
5. To save the app icon onto your phone, look in your browser menu and choose "Save to home screen, or install" or something similar (or click the install button).
6. Then you're done! Click the blue W icon to run the app in future.

At the moment, the app gives you a preview of what is coming up each Sunday (including links to songs and bible readings). You can also see sermons, blog posts, books, courses, devotionals, meetings, events and your own personal details and roster duties. We hope it will help you to feel connected and informed - let us know how you go!
