We have a sad moment coming up at the end of this year as Laura Heale leaves us in December after over 16 years working in the WMC office. Laura and Alan are relocating to the UK early next year and so, with all the sad goodbyes comes the excitement of new adventures for their family, and especially the joy of being close to their two children who are both based in Europe.
Laura has shared her gifts so generously with us over the years - her meticulous attention to detail in handling our financial records; her warm and patient way with people in managing the use of our property and working with our staff team; her creativity in producing the weekly Staying Connected; and her pastor's heart through her involvement in our caring ministries. We wish the Heales all the best as they set out on this journey, but will miss Laura so much at WMC!
There will be a Sunday morning farewell tea for Laura later in the year to give us a chance to say goodbye as a community. If you would like to contribute to a farewell gift for Laura, please forward envelopes or EFT's marked "Laura's gift" to us by the end of November.
